Project Overview
URL Shortener is a full-stack web application that transforms lengthy URLs into short, manageable links. Built with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, this project demonstrates my ability to create practical, database-driven web applications with clean, intuitive interfaces.
The application not only shortens URLs but also provides valuable analytics, tracking click counts for each shortened link. This gives users insights into the performance of their shared links. The user interface is designed to be straightforward and responsive, making it accessible on any device.
On the technical side, I implemented a robust backend with proper error handling, data validation, and efficient database operations. The shortened URLs are generated using a unique algorithm that ensures they are concise while remaining unique in the system.
